Best endpoint security solutions: side-by-side comparison Deel IT provides centralized endpoint protection that integrates with existing security tools while also connecting device management, identity, and worker lifecycle workflows. CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and SentinelOne also provide centralized endpoint security and integrations, but focus more specifically on security and threat response. Endpoint protection helps businesses prevent, detect, and respond to threats across employee devices. But the right solution depends on more than malware protection: companies also need to consider their operating systems, security expertise, device management requirements, how endpoints are managed across distributed teams, and whether the platform integrates with the tools and workflows already in place. This guide compares eight endpoint security solutions to help you decide which one is best suited for your company's needs.

Just five months after promising customers that it would enable them to become AI-native autonomous enterprises, SAP has delivered: showcasing it with on-stage demos and live customers at SAP Connect in Las Vegas. SAP Connect in 2026: Advancing the Autonomous Enterprise “It’s time to show you the Autonomous Enterprise in action underpinned by great customer stories,” SAP CEO Christian Klein told his keynote audience at the start of the event. Klein reminded the audience that SAP introduced the Autonomous Enterprise at its SAP Sapphire conference in May 2026 as “the beginning of better.” Since then, he said, SAP has worked with hundreds of customers to implement Joule Work as the AI engagement layer for the Autonomous Enterprise.

- Legal and regulatory compliance is one of the highest-stakes places to deploy AI. A wrong or fabricated answer сan cost a real filing, a fine, or months of delay. Most AI tools sidestep this by staying vague or hedging everything. - This case study describes a system built to do the opposite: make specific, checkable claims and back every one with a verifiable source. The outcome is a multi-agent AI system that reviews documents like a law firm handling a complex case, with a specialist assigned to each legal area. It supports every conclusion with a verifiable quote from official legislation. We tested the system on real Ukrainian submissions covering eight regulated areas and 2,918 legal articles. In under two minutes, it completed a full multi-domain compliance check, identified genuine violations, correctly applied martial-law exceptions, and clearly flagged anything it could not verify rather than guessing. Professionals in regulated fields such as accounting, HR, legal services, land administration, public procurement, healthcare, education, occupational safety, and local government often file complex documents. These documents must comply with dense and frequently changing legal and regulatory frameworks. Even small mistakes can have serious consequences. A wrong checkbox, a mismatched date, an outdated form version, or a missing attachment can result in a rejected filing, a fine, or months of delay.

Google has detailed an update bringing a slew of new features to its Pixel Buds 2A and Pro 2, which the company says are rolling out now. The new features were first teased in August. The biggest update is Pixel Watch-powered sleep detection, rolling out to both pairs of earbuds. If you’re wearing a Pixel Watch, the buds will now react when you fall asleep, by pausing music, silencing notifications, and turning off touch controls. Several other updates are also coming to both the Buds 2A and Pro. Tap-to-mute allows you to mute or unmute your microphone with a quick tap during calls, though only when also using a Pixel phone, and you can now activate live translation with a single tap. New Gemini voice commands will allow you to control active noise cancellation (ANC), adjust the EQ, or turn on touch controls. The final new feature is Dynamic ANC, which will adjust audio and ANC levels based on the quality of the buds’ seal in your ears. This is exclusive to the Buds Pro 2.

AI is reshaping jobs, skills, and ways of working at an unprecedented pace, pushing organizations to rethink not only their business models, but the workforce they need to support what’s next. SAP Connect in 2026: Advancing the Autonomous Enterprise According to research from the SAP SuccessFactors Future of Work Research Lab, 72% of executives believe organizations claiming to transform work with AI are primarily automating existing processes rather than fundamentally redesigning how work gets done. Yet, 88% say redesigning work and roles creates significant enterprise value. And HR is ranked as the No. 1 owner of that work. As a result, HR and business leaders are looking at how technology can support their need to continuously align people, skills, and work with evolving business priorities. This is the journey to Autonomous HCM. Autonomous HCM is the future of human capital management, where AI automates end-to-end processes, drives context-aware decisions, and optimizes workforce operations at scale.

If you can think it, you can play it. Create, play, and share custom games — no coding required. This content is generated by Google AI. Generative AI is experimental Games are one of the most creative forms of expression, and the gaming community keeps growing. But game creation has historically been limited to a select group of people who have technical experience and knowledge of complex game engines. Today, we’re introducing Playground, an experimental gaming platform that lets you create, play, and share custom games. Playground lowers the barriers to creation, so bringing game ideas to life can now be as easy as describing it through a few prompts — no coding experience required.

At SAP Connect, we announced new and enhanced Joule Assistants for SAP Customer Experience, expanded SAP Order Management Services for complex B2B environments, and the general availability of SAP Commerce Cloud, cloud ERP edition. SAP Connect in 2026: Advancing the Autonomous Enterprise These announcements build on the Autonomous Customer Experience strategy we introduced at SAP Sapphire. That premise is straightforward: AI must understand customer intent, make context-aware decisions, and execute within business guardrails. Following through on a customer commitment requires AI grounded in real-time, enterprise-wide business data, with a deep understanding of the processes needed to orchestrate work from intent to outcome. A quote needs accurate pricing and terms. An order depends on inventory, credit, payment, and fulfillment. A service interaction requires information about the customer, the product, and the commitments the company has already made.

Google today announced Playground, a new browser-based platform for making custom games from AI prompts. Playground will be available today in the US for users who are 18 and older at playground.google. The company is pitching it as an “experimental gaming platform” that “lowers the barriers to creation” and doesn’t require coding experience. “With Playground’s conversational interface, you can direct the game just by typing what you want to build,” Google says in a blog post. “Start from a blank canvas, remix starter prompts, or use guided support to shape your concept — and then test it right away. Want to tweak the physics, rewrite the rules, customize the characters, or overhaul the environment? Just ask. You stay in complete control of the creative direction from rough concept to final polish.” When you’re finished making your game, you can share it with a link or publish it to the “Playground Explore gallery” so others can play it. “Select genres” will support in-game leaderboards and multiplayer. The gallery will highlight games that are “fresh, creative, and fun” using ratings and play activity, according to Google. Playground is free to use, but if you have a Google One subscription, you’ll have higher weekly token limits based on your plan, Google spokesperson Nia Carter tells The Verge. Under the hood, Playground is powered by “Google’s existing foundation models (Gemini, Nano Banana, and Lyria) paired with a custom harness refined through our own internally built games and evaluations,” Carter says.

Two weeks ago, journalists in the San Francisco Bay Area got to try two hot new wearables that weigh only around 100 grams: the just-revealed Meta VR Glasses, and the long-awaited transparent Google XR glasses built in partnership with Xreal. It turns out they’re going head-to-head. Xreal has just opened Aura pre-orders starting at $1,279, $20 less than the Meta VR Glasses. That’s for the Xreal Aura with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage; there’ll also be a 16GB / 512GB config for $1,499. (Xreal couldn’t tell us whether the 16GB of RAM would be important for some apps by publish time.) Both the Google / Xreal Aura and Meta’s VR Glasses let you overlay virtual objects and desktops on the real world. Both are relatively lightweight because they’ve got a cord — their Qualcomm Snapdragon Reality Elite chips and batteries both live in a compute puck, which runs either Meta’s Horizon OS or Android XR. Both greet you with a grid of floating app icons to choose from. But they’re very different experiences in practice, primarily because the Google / Xreal Aura has transparent lenses, while the Meta VR Glasses use passthrough vision to let you see the real world and offers more immersion. While the Xreal Aura has one of the largest transparent fields of view yet at 70 degrees diagonal, it’s still smaller than Meta’s passthrough glasses. I wrote all about it in this story, and it’s just one of many differences.

Our Future of Work Research Lab at SAP SuccessFactors studies how jobs, organizations, leadership, and HR are changing and what those changes could mean for the future of work. SAP Connect in 2026: Advancing the Autonomous Enterprise Many of the futures we have explored are no longer hypothetical. They are showing up in how work is organized and experienced today. The fundamental question now is whether organizations are shaping those changes deliberately or simply reacting as they unfold. Our latest research combines monitoring of more than 500 business, academic, government, and economic resources with original global mixed methods research involving 2,718 employees, 500 C-suite leaders, 60 HR executives, and founders of AI-native companies. It points to a fundamental concern: organizations may be optimizing the future of work for efficiency when they should be designing it for value.

How to choose an MDM with an effective remote wipe for departing employees How Deel IT Eliminates Offboarding Gaps When Employees Leave Deel IT is a top choice for global teams that need remote wipe as part of employee offboarding because it connects device security, access revocation, and equipment recovery with HR-driven workflows. Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, and JumpCloud are strong MDM alternatives, but Deel IT extends beyond device management to support the broader device lifecycle across 130+ countries. When an employee leaves, or a device goes missing, instant remote wipe is what prevents company data from ending up in the wrong hands. The question is which platform makes remote wiping fast, reliable, and actually works the moment someone exits the company.
