Senior Flutter/Dart Developer

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Flutter/Dart Developer to conduct a thorough technical evaluation of an established enterprise mobile application. This hands-on technical leadership position centers on architecture, code quality, engineering practices, and modernization strategy. The chosen candidate will assess the existing implementation, pinpoint technical debt and architectural vulnerabilities, establish a prioritized improvement plan, and drive the implementation of approved modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough technical evaluation of the existing Flutter application
• Assess the application's architecture, project structure, design patterns, scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Examine code quality, development standards, testing approach, CI/CD workflows, release procedures, and engineering best practices
• Pinpoint technical debt, architectural obstacles, security vulnerabilities, and maintainability challenges
• Deliver a comprehensive assessment report covering findings, risks, and recommendations
• Establish a prioritized modernization and improvement roadmap extending through December, covering milestones, dependencies, effort estimates, and anticipated business impact
• Implement the approved technical enhancements and modernization efforts
• Work closely with engineering leadership and development teams
• Deliver technical findings, architectural recommendations, and progress reports to senior leadership
• Supply weekly executive-level status reports directly to the VP of Software Engineering
• Implement AI-assisted engineering practices to enhance developer productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and software delivery
• Assess, propose, and deploy AI engineering tools and workflows, including AI coding assistants, automated code reviews, AI-powered testing, and engineering automation

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• More than 3 years of hands-on Flutter and Dart development experience
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and technical assessments for enterprise mobile applications
• Solid grasp of software architecture, Clean Architecture principles, SOLID, dependency injection, state management patterns, and the mobile application lifecycle
• Proficiency in Flutter performance optimization and application scalability
• Capability in designing and implementing modern CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows
• Knowledge of SDLC, DevOps practices, release management, quality assurance, and testing strategies
• History of introducing engineering best practices and minimizing technical debt in large-scale production applications
• Hands-on experience using AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows within software engineering teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)
• Capacity to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and executive stakeholders

Nice to have

• Background in large-scale enterprise mobile products
• Experience with modernizing legacy Flutter applications
• Knowledge of AI engineering platforms and developer productivity tools, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI, Gemini, or comparable technologies
• Experience working with distributed engineering teams
• Understanding of cloud-native backend architectures and REST APIs
• Background working within Agile delivery environments
