Role description

We are seeking a collaborative and automation-focused Lead DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in streamlining our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by automating and optimizing our build, test, and release processes. You will collaborate closely with software developers to bridge the gap between code generation and deployment, enabling the team to deliver high-quality software rapidly, securely, and reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to accelerate delivery and reduce manual overhead
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage consistent cloud environments across development, testing, and production
  • Configure and maintain application environments, ensuring parity between local development setups and cloud deployments
  • Coordinate and automate software deployments and rollbacks, ensuring minimal disruption to users
  • Integrate security scanning and compliance checks directly into deployment pipelines
  • Promote a security-first culture throughout the development process

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in modern web development with a strong focus on building user-facing features
  • At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Build Engineer, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
  • Deep hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure Pipelines
  • Strong familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Solid understanding of Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping development teams move faster and more safely
  • English level C1 or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills
