Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer with AI & Agentic Testing

We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of software systems, leading a team of testers, implementing and managing automated testing processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of the test automation framework.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable automation solutions, driving quality engineering practices, mentoring teams, and leveraging Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to accelerate software testing and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of testers to provide guidance and support in testing activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases and test strategies
• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities to ensure efficient and thorough testing coverage
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using advanced automation tools
• Identify, report and track defects to ensure their thorough validation and resolution
• Define and enforce quality standards to ensure adherence to best practices
• Design and implement API automation solutions for REST and SOAP services
• Validate XML and JSON payloads through serialization and deserialization techniques
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Define test strategies, automation roadmaps, and quality metrics
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions for automated test case generation, test script generation, code reviews and API-driven automation workflows

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering
• Proficiency in API test automation for REST and SOAP services, including authentication mechanisms such as Basic Authentication, Bearer Tokens, OAuth, and NTLM
• Expertise in software design patterns including Singleton, Factory, Decorator, Page Object Model (POM), and Page Factory
• Skills in CI/CD and DevOps integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and static code analysis tools
• Knowledge of test strategy principles including Test Pyramid, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD)
• Familiarity with Confirmation Testing, Regression Testing, and Change Impact Testing
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor
• Understanding of Prompt Engineering, Context Window Management, Tokenization, and Model Selection Strategies
• Background in embeddings and vector databases for semantic search, similarity search, and retrieval mechanisms
• Competency in designing AI-driven solutions using tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and OpenAI Assistants
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Nice to have

• Experience building multi-agent workflows for end-to-end testing, automated reporting, and failure recovery and fallback handling
• Knowledge of RAG architectures and integrating LLMs with enterprise knowledge sources
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol concepts and frameworks for orchestrating agent interactions and workflow monitoring
• Understanding of Attention Mechanisms and Transformer-based model architectures
