Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Smart-1 Cloud team. Smart-1 Cloud is a growing product that enables customer to get Check Point's Security Management over the Internet as SaaS.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting

  • Functional testing of new Smart-1 Cloud features and deliveries.
  • End-to-end testing of Check Point Management versions and features on Smart-1 Cloud platform.

Major Responsibilities

  • Run QA manual and automated test runs on varied environments and large-scale setups.
  • Create complex virtual and physical environments to test Check Point products.
  • Create test plans for new features; meet with R&D to learn the design, follow up on test requirements, and write tests to cover full feature functionality.
  • Use AI tools for all the above, drive improvement and innovation with AI

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of hands-on networking experience In-depth knowledge of networking and protocols, including a strong grasp of TCP/IP fundamentals and widely used protocols such as DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP, FTP
  • Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
  • Experience in QA methodologies - test design, test cases, and test cycle
  • Attention to detail and punctuality.
  • Independent, motivated, and self-managed at work
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
