Role description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Position Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll build and maintain software across the full technology stack, from database and API development to intuitive user interfaces. You'll work in a collaborative environment where engineers contribute to technical decisions, learn from one another, and help deliver solutions that power global innovation in electronic design. This is an opportunity to take ownership of your work throughout the software development lifecycle while continuously growing your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain features across the full technology stack, from database design and backend services to modern web user interfaces
  • Take ownership of your work throughout all phases of software development, from design through deployment and maintenance
  • Collaborate with QA, Product Management, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and business needs
  • Contribute technical ideas during planning, design discussions, and implementation
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with attention to reliability and performance
  • Identify and resolve bugs, improve existing functionality, and help maintain a high quality codebase
  • Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve both individual and team electiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional software engineering experience
  • Solid understanding of modern web application architecture, API design, and software engineering best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and Kubernetes
  • Experience building and maintaining production web applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Passion for writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code with a focus on quality

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The pay range for this position is 90,000 - 162,000 annually with a target incentive of 3-5 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
