Senior Java / Full-Stack Engineer (Cloud & AI)

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with a strong interest or experience in Full-Stack development (React/Angular) to join our Cloud & AI practice. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on development of modern, highly scalable Java applications integrated with advanced Artificial Intelligence capabilities. You will work closely with architects and AI specialists to implement GenAI features, RAG architectures, and cloud-native services. Having the ability to contribute to the frontend UI is a big plus, but not a strict blocker.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, clean, and testable Java code using Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI capabilities into the Java backend using frameworks like LangChain4j or Spring AI
• Deploy, configure, and manage application services in AWS (ECS, Lambda, Bedrock) or Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, CosmosDB)
• Contribute to frontend development using React or Angular to build and wire intuitive user interfaces for AI-driven features (e.g., chat interfaces, dashboards)
• Implement and optimize database queries, including vector search (PGVector, Pinecone, or Qdrant) for RAG-based systems
• Conduct thorough code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure compliance with security and performance standards
• Support and guide junior and middle developers within the team

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience with Java and Spring Boot
• At least 1.5+ years of practical experience with AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS) OR Azure (Azure Functions, App Services, SQL/NoSQL)
• Hands-on experience with: Connecting applications to LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI via APIs)
• Hands-on experience with: Java-based AI libraries (e.g., LangChain4j, Spring AI)
• Hands-on experience with: Basic understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector search concepts
• Proficiency with Docker, SQL, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions), and Git
• English proficiency at B2 level or above
• Strong analytical, debugging, and self-organization skills

Nice to have

• Practical experience or a strong willingness to work with modern frontend technologies (React, Angular, or TypeScript) to deliver end-to-end full-stack features
• Experience with data pipelines and basic model serving
