Role description

We are building a Lead Data Software Engineer role to deliver cloud-native big-data and full-stack solutions for our data and MarTech ecosystem at scale. You will partner with product, marketing, and data teams to design reliable distributed systems, modern apps, and Azure-based pipelines that connect MarTech and customer-facing platforms - apply now.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance big-data applications using Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Python
  • Implement and optimize cloud-native data pipelines on Azure, including ADF-based ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
  • Build and maintain full-stack applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend services
  • Create robust APIs and microservices that integrate MarTech systems with customer-facing platforms
  • Apply modern design patterns to improve reliability, maintainability, and scalability across distributed systems and full-stack architectures
  • Drive AI-assisted engineering practices including Vibe Coding and other generative-AI development accelerators
  • Translate business needs into durable technical solutions across data and application layers with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience (5+ years) with big-data technologies such as Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, and Spark Streaming, along with Python
  • Practical experience with cloud engineering on Azure services, including Azure Data Factory
  • Deep expertise in advanced system design, including event-driven architectures and distributed design patterns
  • Full-stack engineering experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Solid background in backend development using Node.js, Python, or Java
  • Proficiency in RESTful and GraphQL API design, along with CI/CD pipelines supporting full-stack deployments
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-augmented development such as Vibe Coding or comparable frameworks
  • Exposure to modern AI/ML pipelines for personalization, segmentation, or content automation
