Role description

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and ETL data pipelines. The role includes API integrations, Kubernetes-based deployments, and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build robust software solutions that meet both technical and business requirements
  • Develop and maintain data processing workflows that support reliable and efficient data movement
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications within orchestrated cloud environments
  • Build and integrate APIs to enable seamless communication between systems and services
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Python 3.x fundamentals, including data structures, functions, modules, exception handling, and object-oriented programming
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience creating and maintaining ETL data pipelines
  • Experience developing and integrating APIs
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Experience using Pydantic for data validation and settings management
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot
  • Experience working within Agile development environments
  • Familiarity with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure as code
