Role description

We are looking for a talented Lead JavaScript Developer who is enthusiastic about creating engaging, responsive web and hybrid-mobile applications. In this position, you will apply your deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js to build performant, SEO-optimized, and mobile-first user interfaces.

Your focus will be on delivering outstanding web experiences that mirror the look and feel of native mobile apps, while fine-tuning performance across desktop and mobile web view browsers, including iOS Safari. Partnering closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and product owners, you will transform interactive designs into well-structured, modular, and reusable front-end code.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement performant, adaptive web applications using React and Next.js, making full use of features such as SSR, SSG, and API routes
  • Build precisely styled, mobile-first user interfaces that scale gracefully across devices, with a particular focus on polishing layouts, animations, and touch interactions for mobile viewports on iOS and Android browsers
  • Orchestrate complex client-side state using solutions like Redux, Zustand, or Context API, and wire applications to backend RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Diagnose and optimize applications to achieve leading load times, strong Core Web Vitals metrics, and seamless rendering on lower-end mobile devices
  • Deliver clean, sustainable, and testable JavaScript/TypeScript code, carry out thorough code reviews, and enrich the shared UI component library

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of proven professional background in software engineering
  • One year or more of experience directing and mentoring development teams
  • Established history in modern web development with a strong focus on releasing user-facing features
  • Advanced fluency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React for delivering scalable and dynamic front-end applications
  • Practical exposure to the Next.js framework, spanning App Router or Pages Router along with Server Components
  • Familiarity with contemporary CSS frameworks and techniques such as Tailwind CSS, styled-components, or CSS Modules for efficient and maintainable styling
  • Experience improving web applications for mobile browsers, engineering Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), or integrating web views within hybrid mobile shells
  • Confident use of Git and comfort operating within Agile/Scrum development environments
  • English at B2 level or above, complemented by strong written and spoken communication abilities
