Senior Data Software Engineer with Azure Data Factory, Databricks

We are looking for a Senior Data Software Engineer to support the development of a full-stack data pipeline, covering backend data warehousing, transformation processes, and business intelligence reporting, contributing to the delivery of reliable, scalable, and business-ready data solutions for our BI Services Team's purchasing domain analytics platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data warehouse solutions using MS SQL, Oracle, and Databricks
• Implement and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with SSIS, dbt, and MS Fabric
• Ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and data quality across systems
• Support the creation and optimization of semantic models and reporting layers
• Contribute to Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data flows
• Act as a trusted advisor while contributing to architecture improvements for the customer
• Guide discussions toward the best technical and business solutions
• Take a hands-on, delivery-focused approach to the agreed backlog
• Support the team in achieving its sprint goals during the migration to Databricks using an AI-driven approach

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend data warehouse development with MS SQL, Oracle, and Databricks
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, dbt, and MS Fabric
• Understanding of data modeling and data processing pipelines
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• B2+ level of English proficiency

Nice to have

• Familiarity with semantic models
• Exposure to Power BI or other BI/frontend tools
• Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering, Fabric, or Power BI
