Lead Fullstack Developer (JavaScript & React)

We are seeking a Lead Fullstack Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript and React to become part of our team. Responsibilities

• Architect and implement resilient, scalable features across both the frontend and backend of our applications
• Engage in architectural conversations and help guide decisions that influence the long-term evolution of our systems
• Partner with product managers and designers to convert business needs into effective technical solutions
• Uphold strong standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the codebase
• Investigate and fix intricate technical issues impacting production environments
• Contribute to the reliable deployment and operational health of applications hosted in the cloud
• Help advance engineering practices, tooling, and processes across the team
• Take part in planning activities to scope and estimate effort for upcoming work
• Keep pace with new technologies and assess their relevance and value for the team
• Offer mentorship and support to fellow engineers throughout the development process

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• A minimum of one year of experience leading and managing development teams
• Practical experience with frontend technologies, including JavaScript, ES6, React, Next.js, HTML/HTML5, CSS/Sass/Less, and XHR
• Practical experience with backend technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Database knowledge spanning MySQL, NoSQL, and CosmosDB
• Capacity to guide technical direction across every application layer and maintain consistent coding standards
• Experience performing detailed code reviews with attention to quality, performance, and security
• Strong expertise in designing and building microservices, along with deploying them on Azure cloud
• Experience ensuring production readiness through health checks, graceful degradation, and rollback strategies
• Proficient in creating clear technical documentation, including ADRs, integration guides, and runbooks
• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting dashboards using Splunk and Dynatrace
• Ability to define SLOs for critical services and build effective observability practices
• Skilled at proactively spotting technical risks and blockers before they impact delivery
• Direct experience with Vibe Coding using a variety of AI tools
• Experience promoting AI-assisted development practices, including code generation, test scaffolding, PR reviews, and pairing to achieve measurable productivity improvements
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration abilities, serving as the main technical contact across multiple teams
• Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience mentoring team members and providing regular status updates with candid risk assessments
• Ability to cultivate a culture of ownership and accountability within the team
• Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
