Lead Full-Stack Developer (Java & GCP)

We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java and GCP to join our team. Responsibilities

• Build and support backend services for payment, loyalty, promotion, and other commerce domain systems
• Enable AI-driven checkout flows with proper validations and guardrails
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business goals
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality, performance, and security
• Contribute to architectural decisions that support long-term system growth and stability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner
• Mentor team members and support their technical development

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• At least one year of experience leading and managing teams
• Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Existing production experience developing Front-End components using React.JS
• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude Code
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and microservices
• Exposure to AI-assisted or agent-based workflows and backend integrations
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, patterns, and technologies
• Cloud experience with GCP and/or Azure
• Availability to work with overlap into US Pacific Time
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• CCA-F certification
• Experience with Apigee
• Familiarity with JavaScript backend platforms
