Senior Azure Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Azure Engineer to join our global delivery team in a fully remote working mode. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies to design, develop, and manage complex Azure-based solutions for a leading global financial market infrastructure provider. You will contribute to cloud transformation initiatives by building scalable environments, implementing CI/CD best practices, and automating infrastructure deployment to ensure performance, security, and cost optimization. Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CI/CD processes for various application deployments and maximize automation capabilities
• Migrate workloads to Microsoft Azure, ensuring security and scalability
• Build and maintain customer environments in Azure Cloud services following best practices
• Implement Python automation solutions to extend Azure DevOps capabilities
• Suggest enhancements for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and release management for multiple teams
• Advise development teams on CI/CD and IaC design patterns to support integration and deployment
• Set up monitoring solutions and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency
• Oversee and manage the full software release lifecycle in alignment with business requirements

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Azure production systems
• Solid expertise in Azure services: Virtual Machines, App Service, Databases, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• In-depth understanding of Azure Networking Services: VNet, Gateway, ExpressRoute, DNS, Load Balancer, Firewall, WAF, AppGateway, Traffic Manager, CDN
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in Azure environments
• Strong background in CI/CD implementations using Azure DevOps
• Proficiency in scripting: PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation tasks
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory for authentication and role-based access management
• Knowledge of monitoring and performance optimization using industry-standard practices (Golden Signals)
• English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent)
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools for Azure automation
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud integrations and secure connectivity options
