Role description

We are looking for

For our Aerospace Division site in Haifa, we are looking for an Engineer with expertise in radar algorithms, extensive experience in signal processing and 3D imaging, to join a multidisciplinary advanced development team developing an innovative and groundbreaking Imaging Radar solution for airborne platforms

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the development of advanced defense technologies, work on complex multidisciplinary systems, and contribute to state-of-the-art radar imaging capabilities with significant operational impact

In this role you will

Develop and implement advanced radar signal processing algorithms and 3D image reconstruction capabilities

Define, execute, and analyze laboratory, field, and flight experiments

Analyze data and derive conclusions for implementation within the product

Develop and operate dedicated simulation tools for algorithmic research

Integrate complex systems

Work within a multidisciplinary team environment

Collaborate closely with technical management, mechanics, software, hardware, operational research, system engineering, and product management teams

Requirements

B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics - Mandatory

M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree - Advantage

Specialization in Signal Processing - Mandatory

Knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python - Mandatory

Experience in algorithm development, from requirements definition through implementation, integration, testing, and documentation

Experience in signal processing within advanced communications and/or radar domains

Experience implementing algorithms on GPU platforms - Advantage

Familiarity with advanced signal separation, modulation, or coding techniques such as DDMA, MIMO, SAR and similar methods - Significant advantage

Familiarity with fundamental RF considerations in radar development - Advantage

Broad system-level understanding and ability to work in a dynamic technological environment

High self-learning capability

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent interpersonal communication
