Role description

We are looking for an Architect, APIs and Integration , to shape and deliver complex integrations across a diverse technology landscape. You will guide legacy modernization, moving business logic from AEM into backend services while evolving APIs, microservices, and the loyalty platform. Apply now.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design and rollout of API and integration solutions enabling AEM decommissioning and migration of business logic into backend services
  • Build and support scalable, secure, high-performing backend services aligned with the evolving loyalty platform architecture
  • Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and end users to capture business needs and convert them into technical requirements and solution approaches
  • Coordinate communication across internal teams and external partners to maintain alignment and on-time delivery of integration components
  • Assess current system gaps and recommend architectural improvements to enhance integration workflows and system interoperability
  • Improve the platform through refactoring, performance optimization, and incremental delivery of new features and enhancements
  • Contribute to technical reviews and client meetings by presenting solution designs, collecting feedback, and updating implementation plans accordingly

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in API design, development, and integration across complex, multi-technology ecosystems using Apigee, MuleSoft, and microservices architectures
  • Strong architectural acumen paired with hands-on backend development skills in Java and cloud-native environments such as AWS
  • Demonstrated ability to translate and refactor business logic from legacy front-end systems like AEM into resilient backend services
  • Solid experience connecting legacy and modern platforms while aligning technical delivery with changing business goals in travel and hospitality domains
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills, including collaboration with client managers, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive technical vision and delivery
  • English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
