Role description
We are looking for a Senior AI & Platform Integration Engineer to join a cross-product-architecture initiative aimed at reducing deployment tool sprawl across the client's applications and migrating them to standard technologies. This project focuses on building and implementing an AI-assisted Migration Framework using autonomous AI agents to automate application lifecycle management, streamline migrations for Lines of Business, and accelerate product upgrade cycles within a secure Sovereign Cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop the core AI agent modules, including the Migration Agent for automatic artifact conversion and deployment metadata tagging
- Build the pre-deployment validation module to perform automated config checks and dependency resolution
- Design the deployment orchestration module to manage deployment sequencing logic
- Create the post-deployment verification module to serve as a copilot for human operators during validation and rollback
- Integrate developed AI agents with the confirmed SCS toolchain, such as Jenkins, Tekton, or ArgoCD
- Write robust audit logging code that captures agent decisions and reasoning, connecting it to the existing monitoring stack
- Maintain high code quality through unit, integration, and E2E testing, ensuring a minimum of 80% unit-test coverage
- Produce technical runbooks, onboarding manuals, and operational guides
- Support the knowledge transfer process to the operations team
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with expertise in writing clean, modular, and asynchronous code
- Proficiency in AI-agent workflow development, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-based parsing of raw configurations or code
- Hands-on experience configuring and extending Kubernetes-native CI/CD tools
- Proven track record delivering rigorously tested code, with strong unit and integration test coverage
- Proven ability to build secure, robust integrations between disparate tools, microservices, and databases
- Skills in Python, Go, or Java
- Familiarity with AI and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI/Enterprise LLM APIs
- Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps tools, including ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, and YAML
- Understanding of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Competency in testing tools such as PyTest, Go Test, or JUnit
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in developing within highly secure, air-gapped, or Sovereign Cloud environments
- Experience troubleshooting live pipeline deployments and interacting directly with platform engineering teams
