Role description

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager - GCP Cloud to lead large-scale cloud transformation, migration, and modernization programs, driving end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams while managing senior stakeholder relationships and ensuring successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end programme delivery across discovery, assessment, landing-zone readiness, wave planning, migration execution, cutover, warranty, and transition to operations, with overall responsibility for Project/People/Account Management
  • Lead multiple cross-functional and distributed teams; manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive governance, with awareness of Data Privacy, Security, IP & Responsible AI activities
  • Review solution architectures and migration strategies; validate application dependency maps, migration waves, security, resilience, performance, operability, and cost assumptions
  • Chair migration readiness and technical governance forums such as ARB, WAR etc.; lead Go/No-Go decisions, coordinate cutover, rollback, business validation, warranty, and service acceptance
  • Partner with client business, security, infrastructure, application, data, and operations leaders to translate technical constraints into clear business impacts and decisions
  • Establish delivery metrics including migration throughput, schedule variance, defect leakage, cutover success, availability, performance, cloud spend, and benefits realization
  • Drive adoption of cloud governance and FinOps practices, including policy, tagging, cost allocation, budget controls, rightsizing, and optimization backlogs
  • Support presales, estimates, solution shaping, delivery assurance, account growth, and capability development; coach delivery managers and technical leads
  • Use approved enterprise GenAI tools responsibly to improve planning, reporting, risk analysis, knowledge management, and stakeholder communication while protecting data and intellectual property

Requirements

  • 9 to 14 years of experience in IT delivery, including 5+ years leading large cloud transformation, application modernization, infrastructure, or migration programmes, along with experience managing multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders, and program execution using Agile & Hybrid methodologies
  • Knowledge of GCP resource hierarchy (organizations, folders, projects), IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Cloud KMS, and backup/DR concepts
  • Familiarity with migration strategy patterns such as rehost, replatform, and refactor
  • Ability to govern identity, network segmentation, key management, logging, vulnerability remediation, backup/DR, business continuity, and regulatory requirements
  • Expertise in RAID management, financial governance, change control, and executive reporting
  • Working knowledge of project tracking systems (Jira/Confluence/ADO/Project) and usage of Gen AI tools for Delivery Management
  • Understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers/Kubernetes (GKE), APIs, integration patterns, and SRE/observability fundamentals
  • Ability to facilitate architecture reviews and explain technical trade-offs, costs, risks, and migration decisions to business and engineering audiences

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Cloud Architecture Framework, Cloud Foundation Toolkit, landing-zone/foundation programmes, and Google Cloud migration methodologies
  • Google Cloud certification: Google Cloud Digital Leader, Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ITIL, or equivalent programme-management certifications
