Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java)

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java) to build reliable automated test coverage for web apps built on Java microservices and react. You will design scalable Selenium automation, expand API testing, integrate suites into CI/CD, reduce flaky tests, and partner with Agile teams to improve quality end to end.

Responsibilities

• Review user stories and define manual and automated test coverage
• Build and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation in Java
• Evolve a scalable automation framework using maintainable patterns
• Develop API automation with REST Assured, Karate, or equivalent
• Integrate automation into Jenkins or approved CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze failures, reduce flakiness, and improve execution speed
• Manage defects and validation workflow in JIRA or equivalent
• Collaborate across Agile ceremonies with engineering and product roles

Requirements

• Selenium WebDriver automation experience
• Java programming skills and object-oriented design knowledge
• Test automation framework development experience
• API automation experience and REST fundamentals knowledge
• Test runner knowledge (JUnit or TestNG)
• Version control and build tooling experience (Git, Maven or Gradle)
• CI/CD integration exposure (Jenkins or equivalent)
• Microservices testing understanding and troubleshooting capability
