QA Automation Tester

We are looking for a QA Automation Tester to join our team. This position is well suited for a detail-driven individual who is passionate about ensuring software is rigorously tested and reliable. You will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance testing methodologies and drive ongoing improvements across various initiatives. This role presents a great chance to expand your automation expertise while playing a direct role in shaping product quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement automated test scripts to confirm application performance across a range of scenarios
• Work with development teams to clarify and refine testing needs throughout each stage of the project
• Examine test outcomes to uncover defects, recurring trends, and opportunities to strengthen quality
• Keep automation frameworks updated and optimized to ensure consistent, dependable results over time
• Help shape quality benchmarks and testing best practices that apply across multiple projects
• Take part in sprint planning and review meetings to ensure testing work stays aligned with project schedules
• Record test cases, scenarios, and results to enable traceability and support knowledge sharing across the team
• Assess and suggest new tools and methods to broaden testing coverage and boost overall efficiency

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience using Azure DevOps to manage testing workflows, pipelines, and project tracking
• Familiarity with Gherkin for crafting clear, structured behavior-driven test scenarios
• Solid proficiency in Java for building and maintaining automated test scripts
• Experience with Serenity BDD for developing and running automated behavior-driven tests
• Familiarity with Spring Boot to support the testing of backend services and applications
• Experience developing or contributing to test automation frameworks that support scalable, maintainable testing
• Understanding of data analytics as applied to quality metrics to enable data-driven quality decisions
• Familiarity with GenAI tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf, to support and streamline testing workflows
• Understanding of agile methodologies or frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Experience with Cucumber for developing and executing behavior-driven test scenarios
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot to speed up test script creation through AI-assisted support
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity across testing-related activities
• Knowledge of test automation framework architecture to support scalable and maintainable testing approaches
• An AI-related certification, ideally in Copilot, with additional credentials in Claude, Gemini, GPT, Grok, or similar tools viewed as a plus
