Role description

We are looking for a Lead UX Designer to join our team and contribute to product discovery, design systems, and end-to-end UX delivery, combining strong design fundamentals with modern AI-assisted workflows in an agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of UX deliverables within assigned sprints, from discovery through hand-off
  • Run research, frame problems, and shape early-stage design direction
  • Contribute to and maintain consistency with the design system, proposing improvements back to it
  • Integrate AI tools into daily workflow to improve speed and quality of design output
  • Participate consistently and punctually in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Estimate design tasks and break work into sprint-sized increments
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and developers to keep design work aligned with the sprint backlog
  • Deliver design assets and specs in time for development hand-off within sprint deadlines
  • Communicate blockers, risks, or scope changes proactively to the Product Owner/Scrum Master
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, PMs, and other designers, giving and receiving constructive feedback in design reviews
  • Document design decisions and rationale clearly for team and stakeholder visibility

Requirements

  • 9-15 years of overall professional experience
  • Proficiency in Figma, including component-based design, prototyping, and collaborative workflows
  • Skills in design discovery, including running research, framing problems, and shaping early-stage design direction
  • Understanding of design system foundations, with the ability to contribute to scalable design systems
  • Familiarity with AI tools in the design process, such as Figma AI, Midjourney, and ChatGPT/Claude for design ideation
  • Experience working within a Scrum framework, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Competency in estimating design tasks and breaking work into sprint-sized increments
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for tracking sprint work
