Role description
We are seeking a Lead Agentic C# Engineer to join our Investments team and help empower our users with a rich feature set, high availability, excellent system performance and a great customer experience. This role requires a willingness to learn new technologies and the ability to work closely with Development, QA and Operations teams responsible for the health of our services and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Build or implement technologies to meet business needs utilizing industry standard tools and best practices
- Establish the agentic pipeline using Github Copilot
- Design, develop and maintain unit, integration and performance tests
- Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
- Assist in the development of user stories, estimates, and work plans
- Advise business clients and IT management of technology capabilities and recommend strategies to maximize the benefits of new technologies
- Drive the improvement of operational efficiency through automation and systemization
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or 5 to 6 years of related job experience in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in C#, TDD, web development and automated testing
- Experience interacting directly with SQL and databases from C#/.Net, including writing complex queries
- Practical application and experience of AI/GitHub Copilot in SDLC
- Experience using JavaScript
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, build tools and configuration management frameworks such as TeamCity, Cake and Octopus
- Skills in process analysis, troubleshooting and data analysis
- Capability to write tested, maintainable code
- Ability to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment, with strong internal motivation
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders across multiple departments
- Driven to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
- Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with RHEL, Python, Postgres and MongoDB
- Some exposure to architecture related experience
- Familiarity with centralized logging and monitoring technologies such as the ELK stack
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google
- Experience with event-driven architecture and UI development frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
- Knowledge of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques, Domain-Driven Design and SOLID coding principles
