Role description

We are seeking a skilled Lead .NET Engineer with deep knowledge of Front-End, Cloud, and AI to join a dynamic development team supporting one of our key clients. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable web applications and services using .NET, cloud, and AI technologies, in addition to solid front-end development skills. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that support business goals and enhance user experience.

Please note that working from the office in Katowice, Gdansk, Poznan, Lodz, Warsaw, Wroclaw, or Krakow, 3 days per week, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications, services, and APIs using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, etc.) together with modern front-end frameworks
  • Create responsive, intuitive, and high-performing user interfaces using front-end technologies such as React or Angular
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to define application requirements and architecture across front-end and back-end layers
  • Oversee deployment, integration, and monitoring of software on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Implement cloud-native principles using technologies like serverless computing, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud storage solutions
  • Integrate and apply AI technologies within practical, real-world projects
  • Evaluate, select, and implement AI models and frameworks that go beyond basic tool usage
  • Identify opportunities where AI can improve process automation, analytics, or products
  • Explain AI concepts and workflows clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability by adhering to best practices in these areas and in cloud architecture
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production environments across full-stack components
  • Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality, reusability, and long-term maintainability across the full stack
  • Simplify deployment through automated CI/CD pipelines to support continuous feature delivery
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in .NET frameworks, front-end frameworks, cloud and AI technologies, and related development tools
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strengthening the team's overall technical expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core)
  • Solid hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular, including component architecture, state management, and responsive design
  • Demonstrated ability to build seamless, user-friendly interfaces that integrate effectively with back-end services and APIs
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and related tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless frameworks
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience applying AI technologies to real-world project scenarios
  • Proficiency in evaluating, selecting, and implementing AI models and frameworks beyond basic tool usage
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, including model training, data preprocessing, and prompt engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities where AI can be applied for process automation, analytics, or product enhancement
  • Familiarity with the limitations and best practices related to AI adoption and deployment
  • Ability to explain AI concepts and workflows to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency working with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
  • Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, unit testing, and version control (Git)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in team-oriented environments
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above
