Role description

At monday.com , we're building a platform that helps millions of people work better - together. Our customers depend on us to manage, understand, and improve their workflows, and to make better decisions - fast. Design plays a central role in that mission, helping us craft products that are powerful, intuitive, and a delight to use.

The Vertical Products pillar at monday.com encompasses monday CRM, monday Service, and monday Work Management for Enterprise users. This pillar plays a crucial role in driving the majority of monday.com 's growth by focusing on transforming the way our users work with adoption of AI Agents.

We're looking for a Product Design Group Manager to lead the design team, strategy and execution for one of our teams on the Vertical Products pillar.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a high-impact area at the company, grow a team of talented designers and leaders, and play a key role in monday.com 's continued scale - especially as we integrate AI across our product to unlock smarter, faster, and more personalized experiences.

What you'll do

  • Own the execution and strategy for your product area, in collaboration with your Engineering and Product Management peers on the Leadership team.
  • Lead and inspire an inclusive team of product designers and design leaders, fostering a culture of growth, ownership, feedback, and design excellence through mentorship and empowerment.
  • Define and drive a bold design vision around AI features and AI Agents, transforming the way our users work daily.
  • Translate company strategy into inspiring group-level goals, and own the team's design direction to ensure a coherent and thoughtful user experience across the board.
  • Lead the transformation of our internal workflows by embracing AI tools and innovative processes. Challenge the status quo to enhance your team's effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure high-quality, user-centric design and ecosystem consistency by setting high standards for craft and collaboration.
  • Drive structured experimentation and iterative learning, utilizing data, customer insights, and AI capabilities to sharpen both the product and the design process.
  • Act as a leader within the broader Design guild, extending your influence beyond your product group by spearheading initiatives and actively contributing to our culture, growth, and collective expertise.

You'll thrive in this role if you

  • Have 8+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in leading Product Design teams.
  • You possess a clear vision of how AI can transform the workplace and have a proven track record of experimenting with innovative work methods within the teams you have led.
  • You have successfully led teams in designing and delivering AI-driven experiences.
  • Have a track record of leading complex product domains and enjoy simplifying challenges through thoughtful design and systems thinking.
  • Navigate and reduce complexity, not just in design, but also in processes, organizational structure, and communication.
  • Build inclusive teams and diverse skillsets, while fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and craft excellence.
  • Are deeply familiar with product architecture and design systems, and use that knowledge to drive innovation and execution.
  • Excel at amplifying impact by mentoring leaders, creating tools for collaboration, focusing the team on what matters the most and guiding execution with high context and trust.
  • Take pride in knowing the details and leading by example, not just managing from above, but rolling up your sleeves when needed.
  • Communicate with clarity and warmth, skillfully sharing feedback and presenting bold ideas.
  • Put users at the center of every decision and are relentless about creating product experiences that help them succeed.

Why join us?

  • You'll shape the future of how millions of people work - with visible impact across our product.
  • You'll lead design for experiences that bring together human creativity and AI to help users work smarter, not harder.
  • You'll join a design organization that's empowered, respected, and drives strategic value at every level.
  • You'll be part of a company that's global, fast-moving, and deeply invested in individual and team growth.
  • You'll help define how design leadership looks at monday.com - and build a culture that scales with integrity and ambition.

Ready to design a future where data speaks volumes - clearly, beautifully, and powerfully?

We'd love to meet you.
