Key Responsibilities

Our board design engineers play a crucial role, owning the entire lifecycle of printed circuit boards (PCBs) - from requirements phase to testing phase. These PCBs are the core of the Elbit System Products. Except for designing the PCB the job also includes collaborating with software, FPGA, and mechanical teams. This position offers exposure to state-of-the-art technology and other interesting challenges

Requirements

bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

Industry Experience: 7+ years in digital electronic design

Advantageous Skills

Voltage Regulated Modules (VRM) Design

Analog Circuit Design (amplifiers, filters, etc.)

:Board Design Expertise

Requirements Definition

Top-Level Architecture Definition

Proficiency in PCB Design Tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Expedition, Cadence)

Expert Knowledge in PCB Layout Approach

Wide Experience with High-Speed Signal Integrity Digital Designs

Stack-up definition for high-speed PCBs

Retimes and redrives

High-speed layout

Signal integrity tools (e.g., Hyperlynx, Ansys, etc.)

Strong Problem-Solving Skills

Leadership Abilities

Ability to guide colleagues from other teams (SW, FPGA, Mechanics, Environment, etc.)

Experience with processor-based hardware platforms and a solid understanding of CPU architecture (e.g., ARM/X86) and system-level design - Advantage

Advantage: Knowledge of Python or other software languages
