: Job Description

A Software Engineer in the Tier 4 support team is responsible for providing expert-level technical support to customers and support teams, investigating complex software system issues, performing Root Cause Analysis, and developing code-based solutions. The role combines development, debugging, system analysis, and close collaboration with development, engineering, QA, DevOps, and support teams

:Responsibilities

Investigating complex issues in customer and internal environments

Performing Root Cause Analysis and deriving conclusions

Developing software fixes (bug fixes)

Collaborating with development teams to improve product quality

Providing professional guidance to support teams and customers

Improving debugging, monitoring, and investigation automation tools

Writing technical documentation and sharing knowledge within the organization

:Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

At least 3 years of software development experience

Significant experience in Java development

Experience working in a Linux environment

Experience with Microservices architecture and deploying, managing, and operating applications in a Kubernetes environment

Experience in log analysis and debugging of complex systems

Experience working with Git and version control systems

Ability to read and understand existing codebases, investigate issues, and perform Root Cause Analysis

Ability to work with advanced AI tools for code analysis, debugging, issue investigation, automation, and productivity improvement

High level of English - reading, writing, and speaking

:Advantageous Requirements

Experience working with customers or in Tier 3 / Tier 4 support teams

Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or streaming systems

Experience with JavaScript and React

Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and monitoring systems

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience in performance analysis and optimization

Familiarity with communication protocols and traffic analysis
