Responsibilities

In this role, you will

  • Develop and produce exciting, creative motion designs from start to finish.
  • Transform written concepts, scripts, and storyboards into captivating visual creations, whether through motion design, live video production, or other animated marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop, refine, and implement our visual language, with a focus on instructional motion graphics design.
  • Partner with the creative production team to create graphics and animations that enhance the educational quality of our courses and other materials.
  • Collaborate with designers to incorporate motion graphics into websites and landing pages.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in motion graphics design and video editing
  • Demonstrable creative design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Strong visual design skills and an eye for clean, simple design
  • Proficiency with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Figma, and a PC-based production environment
  • Experience working in branding or advertising, preferably in a studio environment as part of a team
  • Passion for hardcore gaming (PC and console)

Bonus points

  • Experience with 3D modeling and animation
  • Ability to animate vector icons and figures
  • Experience capturing in-game footage or gameplay
  • Familiarity with projects that begin with "yeah, this should be pretty simple."
