What we are looking for
The Service Logistics Planner in Taiwan will support the local Service and Logistics team in daily operational activities related to material movements, spare parts logistics, inventory transactions, shipment coordination, and service support operations.
This role is highly operational and requires close coordination with local teams, service engineers, global planners, and 3PL warehouses to ensure smooth material flow and timely support for customer service activities.
The position is focused on execution, logistics coordination, ERP transactions, and operational support in a fast-paced global service environment.
Role Responsibilities
What you will be doing
Shipping & Transportation
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for spare parts and service materials
- Support urgent service shipments to customers and field engineers
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics providers
- Track shipments and escalate delays or delivery issues
- Support shipping documentation and customs-related activities when required
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Support daily coordination with local 3PL warehouse operations
- Assist with receiving, picking, packing, transfers, and shipment execution
- Perform and monitor inventory transactions in ERP system
- Support inventory accuracy activities, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations
- Monitor material movement between warehouses, customer sites, and service locations
Service Logistics Support
- Support local service team with material availability and logistics coordination
- Assist in handling service requests, part movements, and urgent operational escalations
- Coordinate reverse logistics activities including returns and defective material flow (RMA)
- Help prioritize shipments based on operational urgency and customer impact
ERP Transactions & Documentation
- Execute logistics and inventory transactions in Oracle ERP or related systems
- Maintain accurate shipment records, delivery documentation, and inventory updates
- Ensure transaction accuracy and compliance with internal logistics procedures
- Support data cleanup and operational follow-up activities during system stabilization
Reporting & Communication
- Provide shipment and operational status updates to local and global teams
- Support preparation of weekly logistics and inventory reports
- Communicate operational issues, delays, and exceptions proactively
- Work closely with planners, service coordinators, warehouse teams, and HQ stakeholders
Process & Operational Support
- Support ongoing operational improvements and logistics stabilization activities
- Assist with implementation and alignment of logistics procedures and work instructions
- Support compliance with company logistics and import/export requirements
- Help reduce operational delays and improve execution efficiency
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or student in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, operations, warehouse coordination, or supply chain support - advantage
- Junior candidates with strong motivation and learning ability are welcome to apply
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) - advantage
- Good Excel and operational reporting skills
- English communication skills required (written and verbal)
- Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced operational environment
- Team player with proactive and service-oriented mindset
- Willingness to grow and develop within a global supply chain and service logistics environment
