Technical Production Manager

We are looking for

For the Aerospace division site in Karmiel, we are looking for a Technical Production Manager to join the Head Systems Products team

Join us and take part in supporting advanced multidisciplinary products from development through serial production in a dynamic and innovative environment. In this role, you will influence engineering processes, lead technical investigations, and work closely with cross-functional teams on mission-critical systems in the defense industry

In this role you will

Support and onboard development projects of various products and transfer them to serial production

Develop testing and calibration processes

Perform failure investigations and provide creative solutions to technical issues identified during manufacturing processes

Lead engineering changes in serial production products, including solutions for obsolete components, through matrix management in a multidisciplinary environment

Write technical documentation for products and processes

Plan and analyze engineering experiments such as QUAL and POD

Support and optimize manufacturing processes

Requirements

Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering

At least 3 years of experience in technical management, system engineering, or product management

Experience with NPI processes, manufacturing process improvement, testability, engineering changes, and engineering documentation

Experience working in a matrix environment with multidisciplinary systems

Experience leading engineering investigations in complex systems and identifying root causes

Familiarity with optical and inertial tracking systems - Advantage

Familiarity with complex optical testing and calibration systems such as collimators, theodolites, optical tables, integrating spheres, and cameras - Advantage

Familiarity with engineering tools and algorithms such as scripting, Python, and MATLAB - Advantage

Knowledge of optical and electrical testing for electro-optical assemblies - Advantage

High motivation, teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure with multiple interfaces, broad system-level perspective, independent work capabilities, and strong learning ability

Good English skills, including reading, writing, and speaking
