Cloud Solution Architect with FinOps expertise

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Solution Architect to optimize cloud infrastructure (annual budget of ~$2.5M).

This is a practical, engineering-first role. The primary goal is to assess clients' cloud environments, identify areas of waste, and translate optimization strategies into clear, actionable tasks (tickets) for their DevOps team.

Responsibilities

• Identify waste and design cost-saving strategies, including Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and rightsizing
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on optimization findings and ensure both DevOps and Dev teams understand the strategy
• Control and oversee the implementation of the defined optimization strategy
• Translate optimization strategies into clear, actionable tickets for the DevOps team
• Create simple, high-impact "Before & After" reporting and presentations for stakeholders to showcase optimization results
• Leverage AWS native dashboards and FinOps tools to analyze usage patterns and uncover opportunities for cost efficiency

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture
• Hands-on background in AWS cloud architecture
• Proven experience working closely with DevOps/SRE teams and understanding of their workflows
• Familiarity with cloud cost management principles, including Reserved Instances and Savings Plans
• Eagerness to deepen FinOps skills through mentorship
• Strong communication skills to explain complex infrastructure changes simply and present "before vs. after" results to the business
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
