Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner - Data & Business Intelligence to take charge of the end-to-end management of digital products focused on data, analytics, and Business Intelligence. This role serves as the essential liaison between business departments and BI development teams, ensuring the delivery of impactful solutions that address strategic priorities and foster user engagement. This is a fully remote position, with an emphasis on supporting teams located in Chile.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Data & Business Intelligence products, from assessing business requirements to ensuring continuous improvement
• Convert business needs into detailed user stories and maintain a well-structured backlog with clear priorities
• Work in close partnership with BI development teams to conceptualize, develop, and enhance analytical tools and data visualization solutions
• Organize and manage functional testing (QA) to confirm solutions align with specified requirements before launch
• Supervise and coordinate production deployment for the products under your responsibility
• Monitor product usage and performance, identifying areas for optimization and ongoing development
• Encourage the adoption of data and BI solutions by delivering presentations, conducting training sessions, and engaging with users and stakeholders
• Facilitate effective communication and alignment across business units, technical teams, and other stakeholders involved in delivering solutions

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
• A minimum of 3 years in positions such as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar roles focused on data products or Business Intelligence
• At least 2 years of experience managing teams with 20 or more members
• Proven experience in at least two complete project cycles or multiple projects spanning various development phases
• Practical experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in SQL at a functional or intermediate level for data querying and management
• Knowledge of Power BI at a functional or intermediate level for creating dashboards and visualizations
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements while maintaining an organized product backlog
• Familiarity with coordinating functional testing and managing production releases
• Strong command of English (B2 or higher) with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
