Electro-Optics Systems Engineer

For our site in Rehovot, we are looking for a System Engineer to join the development of advanced electro optical remote sensing space systems

In this role you will

Lead system engineering and architecture for electro optical space systems, including requirement allocation, interface management and system trade offs (performance, weight, power, data budget, etc.)

Prepare and lead system reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR) and related engineering deliverables such as ICD, V&V, ATP/ATR

Manage system design maturity processes, risks and mitigation activities

Write and manage system/component requirement specifications (DOORS/Polarion) and perform system modeling and design (SysML)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define optimal solutions

Work with business stakeholders within the division and with customers

Lead integration and testing activities with development teams and clients

Perform analyses, prepare test plans and test reports

Provide technical support for tenders and presale activities

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electro Optical Engineering, Physics or Electrical Engineering

M.Sc. in Engineering - advantage

At least 5 years of experience in system engineering or in the development of complex multidisciplinary systems

Experience leading engineering processes in a matrix environment

Experience conducting system design reviews and V&V/integration activities

High level technical English - reading, writing and speaking

Hands on experience with Matlab / Python / LabView - advantage

Experience in electro optical system development and integration - advantage

Familiarity with space system development - advantage

Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and analytical

skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
