Role description
We are building cloud-native, AI-enabled backend services for our client's platform, and you will guide delivery as a Lead Python Software Engineer . You will develop reliable Python services, maintain key C#/.NET parts, and ship AWS-based REST APIs while integrating AI features into production; apply now.
Responsibilities
- Design backend services primarily in Python
- Oversee maintenance and improvements of existing C#/.NET components
- Build REST APIs and AWS-based services for scalable deployment
- Implement AI-powered features in production applications
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical design decisions
- Resolve production issues through efficient troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Architecture teams to align delivery
- Create technical documentation and reinforce engineering best practices
- Optimize system performance and improve maintainability over time
Requirements
- Proven track record in commercial software development with 5+ years of experience
- Deep expertise in Python development with working knowledge of C#/.NET
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, REST API development, and Git
- Solid background in SQL and building production backend applications
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application development approaches
- Thorough knowledge of object-oriented design principles, Clean Code, and software design patterns
- Practical experience working in Agile development environments
- Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and source control workflows
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Generative AI / LLM applications and Agentic AI concepts
- Knowledge of AWS Bedrock, Terraform (HCL), and JavaScript / TypeScript
- Skills in Prompt Engineering, Streamlit, and Jupyter Notebooks
- Background in enterprise-scale distributed systems
- Experience in automotive or CRM domain
