Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to build scalable backend services in a cloud-native environment and help raise engineering quality through collaboration and best practices. You will deliver reliable APIs and microservices, improve performance and stability, and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build secure, high-performance microservices that scale
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for enterprise applications
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and architecture partners across the SDLC
• Review code and promote engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause fixes
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
• Work with cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge within the team

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 17+ preferred)
• Hands-on Spring Boot experience
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• REST API design and development experience
• Microservices architecture knowledge
• Relational database and SQL knowledge
• Version control skills with Git and modern workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) in speaking and writing

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
• GraphQL API development or integration experience
• Elasticsearch experience
