Role description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to configure and support SAP Master Data Governance solutions, collaborate closely with clients, and guide development teams in delivering effective master data management capabilities across various business domains.

Responsibilities

  • Configure SAP MDG to meet business and technical requirements
  • Communicate with the client to gather and clarify business needs
  • Create requirements documentation for the development team
  • Configure specific MDG domains according to project scope
  • Guide users on MDG standard features and best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in implementation of SAP MDM functionality and SAP S4 MDG Solution for masters such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance
  • Understanding of SAP MDM and SAP MDG standard processes
  • Experience in SAP MDG EhP6, MDG 7.0/8.0, and preferably SAP MDG on S/4HANA
  • Expertise in Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), and Business Rules Framework Plus (BRFplus)
  • Knowledge of derivation and validation methodologies in MDG S4HANA
  • Hands-on experience in MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, and Configuration rule-based Workflow
  • At least one full implementation in SAP MDG as SAP MDG functional consultant
  • Experience in data migration and CFIN projects implementation
  • Familiarity with MDG Roles & Authorizations

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of MDG Utopia (Fashion and Retail)
  • Knowledge of SAP P2P, Logistics, or Retail
