Role description
Role & Responsibilities
-Works as Software Engineer in the MR Digitalization team, driving pre-development and innovation initiatives for MR scanner technologies.
-Independently build prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to validate new ideas, technologies, algorithms, and product concepts.
-Take end-to-end ownership of technical topics-from concept exploration, solution design to implementation and validation with high-quality delivery
-Leverage AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate experimentation, development, debugging, and technical problem solving.
-Documentation- Document technical specifications, design decisions, prototype outcomes, APIs/SDKs, and application guides
Qualification and Experience
- 4 - 6 years of professional experience in software design and development
- B.E./B.Tech./M. Tech. in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with C# and C++ is desirable.
-Hands-on experience in Machine Learning/CUDA, preferably applied to image and/or signal processing
- Familiarity with Docker/Containerization, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms is desirable.
- Experience with medical imaging data (e.g., MRI, DICOM) is an advantage
-High learning agility with curiosity to explore and adopt emerging technologies and engineering practices.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
- Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work with minimal guidance
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional and global teams
