Role description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Node.JS Engineer to join a custom eCom consumer communication solution designed for planning and execution of personalized communication, ranging from newsletters to marketing campaigns and transactional communications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable solutions using NodeJS and AWS Lambda within an event-driven, microservices, and serverless architecture
  • Establish and maintain engineering excellence across the development lifecycle
  • Apply design principles and design patterns to ensure robust and maintainable code
  • Lead CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and delivery
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality
  • Guide and mentor engineering team members on best practices and technical direction
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, AWS, and AWS Lambda
  • Expertise in event-driven, microservices, and serverless architecture
  • Skills in implementing design principles and design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD
  • Showcase of AI-assisted development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • English proficiency at B2+ level
