Flutter/Dart Technical Lead

We're looking for a Flutter/Dart Technical Lead to join our team in Poland. In this role, you will lead a comprehensive technical assessment and modernization initiative for an existing enterprise mobile application. You will evaluate architecture, identify technical debt and risks, define a prioritized improvement roadmap, and oversee execution of modernization efforts. The role combines deep technical expertise with clear communication to align engineering teams and executive stakeholders on strategic engineering improvements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an end-to-end technical assessment of an existing Flutter application
• Review project architecture, design patterns, scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Evaluate code quality, development standards, testing strategy, CI/CD processes, and release workflows
• Identify and document technical debt, architecture bottlenecks, and security concerns
• Produce a detailed report with findings, risks, and improvement recommendations
• Define a modernization roadmap including milestones, dependencies, and business impact
• Execute approved modernization initiatives and lead engineering improvement efforts
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and developer productivity tools
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and development teams to ensure successful implementation
• Present findings and provide weekly status updates to senior executives, including the VP of Software Engineering

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Flutter and Dart development
• Proven experience leading technical assessments and architecture reviews for enterprise mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, Clean Architecture, SOLID, and state management patterns
• Deep expertise in Flutter performance optimization and application scalability
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, implementing DevOps practices, and improving release management workflows
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for development, testing, and code quality
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience with large-scale enterprise mobile products and modernization projects
• Prior work with AI engineering platforms, coding assistants, and automation frameworks
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and distributed teams
• Familiarity with cloud-native backends and REST API integration
