We are searching for a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with expertise in JavaScript to become part of our team. Our client, a leading provider of automotive services and technology solutions, serves a broad spectrum of clients, including car shoppers, automakers, dealers, retailers, lenders, and fleet owners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the test automation framework
  • Port existing tests to new solutions and restructure them as needed
  • Build a stable integration test package
  • Identify and address gaps in test coverage and add new scenarios
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and the Development team to ensure timely and high-quality task delivery
  • Propose ideas to improve test and code design for better processes and outcomes

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Test Automation with the ability to develop scenarios for UI and API automation using the BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) approach
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Playwright, Cucumber, WebDriverIO, axios, Cypress, SauceLabs, and any CI tool
  • Experience in creating BDD designs and familiarity with building the architecture of test automation frameworks
  • Competency in creating high-quality test documentation
  • Capability to build and maintain test suites, test cases, and manage defects
  • Strong communication skills, with a minimum English proficiency level of B2+ and the ability to propose new ideas and improvements
  • Experience in working within a Scrum framework
