In Wix's world-class data science team, we create algorithms with human-like abilities to enhance the user experience and leverage internal insights far beyond what is possible through traditional engineering. Our projects span a diverse range of technologies such as generative AI, computer vision, forecasting, search, recommendation, NLP etc.

We're in the era of AI breakthroughs, where our team plays a major role in framing Wix's innovative future. The quality of data and data-driven decisions are crucial pillars in building successful AI products, and we're looking for an AI Analyst to manage data processes and evaluate model performance.

In your day-to-day, you will

  • Manage end-to-end data processes for AI model training and evaluation, from data definition and creation to assessing and validating model outputs
  • Work with generative AI models using prompt engineering to support automated model evaluation and synthetic data generation
  • Develop and adapt evaluation methodologies, with a particular focus on automated and scalable approaches
  • Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and data engineers to define data requirements, identify gaps, build data pipelines, and proactively solve data challenges to produce high-quality datasets
  • Evaluate model training data and results, conduct in-depth analyses (including error analysis), and define and monitor metrics/KPIs to assess model performance
  • Optimize data collection and manual labeling processes, managing projects with both in-house labeling teams and external partners
  • Translate insights into clear, presentation-ready reports and dashboards for technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics
  • Strong experience applying AI and data analytics to solve real-world problems, including deep analysis of both structured and unstructured data
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools
  • Bonus points for familiarity with the basics of building AI models
  • Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn about AI, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Independent, dedicated, and responsible, with strong project management and ownership skills to drive processes end-to-end
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver clear results and analysis
