Full Stack Software Design Engineer (JavaScript/Angular & Java)

Project description

As a Full Stack Software Design Engineer for Sequence Tooling, you play a central role in the creation, evolution, and maintenance of mission-critical software applications that support the build, installation, upgrade, recovery, and servicing of our clients' systems worldwide.

You understand the applications you work on end-to-end, from frontend user experience to backend services and integrations. You contribute to building maintainable, scalable, and high-quality software architectures that are transparent, extensible, and easy to support.

Role Summary

As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain both frontend and backend components of the SQR platform.

You will build intuitive SAP UI5/Fiori user interfaces while also developing robust Java-based backend services, APIs, and integrations. You will help transform business requirements into technical solutions, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure high standards of software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services.

Build responsive, user-friendly, and accessible enterprise web interfaces.

Collaborate closely with UX designers to implement and validate user-centric designs.

Develop scalable backend services using Java 21

Design and implement REST APIs consumed by frontend applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Translate high-level architectural designs into technical implementations.

Create and maintain detailed technical and design documentation.

SKILLS

Must have

• Experience Required

5+ years of software development experience.

Strong experience in Java enterprise application development.

Experience building enterprise-scale web applications.

Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum product teams.

Experience with automated testing and CI/CD environments.
