Role description

About the Project

We are building a brand-new IT Support team from the ground up for a European automotive manufacturing plant - a major production facility currently ramping up operations in Spain. This is a rare opportunity to join a project at its very start and grow along with it.

The team will support the full IT landscape of the plant: from L1 desktop and access support for end users, to L2/L3 maintenance of the production systems (SAP, MES, PLM/Siemens Teamcenter) that keep the manufacturing line running. You'll be working alongside an international team, gaining exposure to enterprise-level systems used in real vehicle production.

If you're looking to start or grow your career in an environment where your work has visible, tangible impact on a large-scale manufacturing operation, this is your chance to be part of the founding team.

About the Role

As an L1 Support Specialist, you will handle incoming requests, provide basic technical assistance, and ensure smooth ticket routing to the appropriate teams. You will work in an international team environment, supporting users from different regions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for users via calls, emails, or ticketing systems
  • Handle basic IT troubleshooting (hardware, software, access issues)
  • Perform password resets and account support
  • Manage user access in Active Directory
  • Respond to standard user requests and queries
  • Log, categorize, and prioritize tickets
  • Ensure proper ticket routing and escalation to Level 2/3 teams
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with users

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and common business applications
  • Experience with Active Directory (or basic understanding)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in technical support or customer service
  • Understanding of ITIL principles or ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to start or grow your career in IT support
  • Work in an international environment
  • Supportive team and structured processes
