Role description

We are looking for a SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to shape the SAP-SCM: TM logistics architecture and guide design decisions. You will configure and assess SAP TM solutions end-to-end, challenging infeasible requests and clarifying what fits standard vs. custom SAP TM. Apply now to help us deliver scalable transportation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end configuration of SAP TM modules to support complex transportation and logistics processes while ensuring smooth integration with existing environments
  • Design robust, scalable transportation management processes across freight order management, transportation planning, freight settlement, and routing
  • Review proposed SAP TM designs and business requirements with a critical eye
  • Act as the technical gatekeeper by giving direct guidance on feasibility
  • Explain SAP TM system constraints to business stakeholders in clear language
  • Determine what works out-of-the-box, what needs custom enhancement, and what is not possible or not recommended due to SAP TM architectural constraints
  • Recommend alternatives when requested designs conflict with SAP TM best practices
  • Deliver scalable and maintainable outcomes through strong, structured problem solving

Requirements

  • Proven track record of 4+ years as an SAP TM Consultant with full lifecycle implementation experience
  • Deep technical and functional understanding of SAP TM architecture
  • Strong ability to assess complex system designs and confidently push back when required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills focused on delivering scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate technical constraints for non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively
  • Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1)
