Senior C++ Software Engineer (DevOps)

About the role

In this role, you will work with a globally recognized manufacturer of computer peripherals and software, known for creating products for PC navigation, video communication and collaboration, music, and smart home solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI and release build processes from component to product level
• Develop and maintain CI-hosted automated domain-specific verification and validation (V&V) quality testing methods
• Collaborate with component- and product-level domain experts to ensure release build processes are effective and V&V quality monitoring
• Reduce turnaround time in both development and release stages
• Create unified and simplified build processes across all components and products
• Enable component and product quality monitoring
• Provide quality-traceable integration reasoning and root cause analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with C/C++
• Experience in embedded systems development
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools
• Knowledge of Android build systems
• Strong in building embedded Linux distributions using Yocto
• Proficient with build systems such as CMake and Make
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies
• Comfortable working with Jira and other project management tools
• Fluent in English at the upper-intermediate level
• Proficient in Python and Bash scripting (nice to have)
