Senior Java Developer

Project description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team and work on a FinTech solution focused on fraud prevention in financial transactions .

You will be involved in building the solution from scratch , working with high-load systems, large volumes of data, microservices, and machine learning-related functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot .
• Build new functionality and services from scratch.
• Design and implement microservice-based architecture .
• Develop and integrate services using Apache Kafka .
• Work with high-load systems and large volumes of data.
• Contribute to fraud detection and prevention functionality.
• Participate in technical and architectural decisions.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

Location: Ukraine

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
• Banking / FinTech experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Java, OOP, and design patterns .
• Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud .
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture .
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka .
• Experience developing high-load systems .
• Experience working with Big Data / large datasets .
• Understanding of machine learning concepts , particularly regression and anomaly detection, is required.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests .
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and code quality.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.
• Good English communication skills.
