Senior Software Engineer (Java + Angular)

Required for this role

5+ years of experience in full-stack Java + Angular development, with the ability to handle full-stack coding tasks independently and deliver on time.

Strong backend development fundamentals and SQL skills.

Hands-on experience with Spring Framework.

Practical experience working with AWS.

Effective knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience with and strong interest in emerging AI code tools and AI-assisted software development.

Proven experience in prompt engineering and context engineering for software development use cases.

Experience evaluating and validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

Upper-intermediate to expert English, with clear and confident real-time communication skills.

Your responsibilities

Independently execute full-stack development tasks and deliver high-quality features on time.

Develop software for an ETF trading solution within a complex enterprise banking environment.

Apply SDLC knowledge throughout software development and delivery.

Build and optimise AI-assisted development workflows using instructions, prompts/commands, skills, subagents, hooks, MCP, and CLI tooling.

Apply advanced prompt engineering and context engineering techniques to software development use cases.

Evaluate AI-generated code to ensure correctness and long-term maintainability.

Validate AI-generated outputs against strict security and performance requirements.

Help shape engineering practices around emerging AI-assisted software development tools.
