Role description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer/ Software Engineer with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end software delivery while guiding a technical team, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving high-quality, iterative releases in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on the maintenance and development of new features
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners (POs), Clients, and PMs to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks
- Ensure project stability by resolving technical challenges and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Drive development within an Agile methodology to ensure timely and iterative delivery
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of software solutions while guiding a technical team
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field
- 4+ years of software development, testing, and implementation experience
- Proficiency in Java and SQL
- Expertise in Spring Boot and microservices deployment
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices supporting a 20+ releases/month cadence
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Redis and RabbitMQ
- Background in deploying dockerized microservices
- Experience with AWS and Azure
