Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the B2B Gift Cards business across India. In this role, you will define the long-term strategic vision, drive scalability through high-impact technology-product integrations with pioneer technology partners, start-ups, and enterprise clients. You will serve as the primary business development leader for the B2B GC team, acting as an effective communicator and negotiator with our most important partners and corporate customers.

The ideal candidate brings strong business judgment, a proven track record of ownership, and exceptional relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Drive B2B Sales: Grow gift card revenue through key corporate customers by engaging directly with senior decision-makers

Client Acquisition: Onboard new corporate clients by designing tailored solutions for their internal requirements and successfully closing complex contract negotiations

Relationship Management: Own and cultivate long-term business relationships with key partners and corporate customers, positioning Amazon Gift Cards as the top choice for gifting and reward programs

Performance Tracking: Drive, measure, and report on key inputs and outputs through Salesforce.com and other reporting systems

Executive Communication: Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management on progress, pipeline health, and roadblocks to closing new customers

Cross-functional Leadership: Lead complex projects and new product GTM implementations across multiple stakeholders spanning Business, Product, Program, and Operations teams

Operational Rigor: Manage defined-frequency reviews with clear inputs, actionables, and an understanding of both long-term and short-term business impact

Ideal Candidate Profile

Data-driven and numbers-oriented with strong analytical skills

Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset

Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels

Demonstrated history of driving B2B sales and managing strategic relationships

Comfortable in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities

Passionate about e-commerce and eager to participate in transformational change

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
