You'll make an impact by

• You support our research activities in Distributed Computing for 6G and Satellite networks by experimenting with our in-house emulation environment
• Building on this, you assist in developing and updating orchestration solutions for predefined use cases and compare their performance
• Furthermore, you contribute to the setup and improvement of our testbed infrastructure to enable robust testing scenarios
• Throughout these tasks, you collaborate closely with the team to integrate networking and edge computing concepts into ongoing projects

This is how you'll win us over

• Education : You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• Experience and Skills :
• Experience in distributed or edge computing
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and testbed maintenance/operations
• Practical skills in scripting and Python/C programming (optionally Typescript/Rust)
• Ways of Working : You work independently, proactively, and enjoy collaborating in a research-driven team
• Languages : Strong English skills
