What you bring

· 10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure, including 2 years directly managing an engineering team.

· Experience owning business-critical production systems in a SaaS or cloud services environment.

· Hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with deep production expertise in at least one and experience leading infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.

· Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including deployments, upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with EKS, AKS, and GKE.

· Experience building and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform or an equivalent tool.

· Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.

· Strong Linux and networking skills, including DNS, TLS, load balancing, routing, and cloud networking.

· Strong Python and Bash skills, with experience writing tested, maintainable automation.

· Experience with metrics, logs, and traces using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Open Telemetry.

· Working knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and least privilege access.

· Practical experience using AI tools for engineering work. You should be able to explain where they helped, how you checked their output, and when you chose not to use them.

· Experience mentoring engineers, resolving competing priorities, and explaining technical decisions to other teams.

· A bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

An advantage

· Experience with cybersecurity platforms, WAF, DDoS protection, or high-volume network services.

· Experience operating Kafka, NATS, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or comparable messaging and data platforms.

· Experience introducing internal developer platforms or AI-assisted automation across teams.
